After a week stuck off school because of the snow, the three little ones were struck down with a heavy colds, sore throats and temperatures. The older two bounced back fairly quickly, but poor Bea was a bit sick yesterday morning, which meant she wasn't allowed back to school for 48 hrs... with Dad due into work early this meant a rare 'mummy day' and with Bea bouncier than ever, we got up to lots of fun while she waited for her parole!
'Dancing on ice' at the park was a laugh... especially when Yoda did his best to pull us over and we had no means to resist! Playing Simpsons top trumps & Happy Families was the usual fun, but best of all the the cake shop - where we baked lemon cup cakes 'injected' with jam surprise and topped with pink icing and sprinkles - Phoebe then displayed these in her shop with full signage, check out and everything! Shame we have to go back to work and school tomorrow, really.
